About Us

Anyplace Library is a large lending library and information provider based in the south west of England.  It houses approximately 20,000 books and 5,000 CDs and DVDs as well as a large local studies collection.  Our aims are to:

  • Encourage learning and discovery;
  • Educate and inform;
  • Encourage community participation;
  • Foster links wth other organisations.

The AnyPlace library website aims to bring the library to you in your home or office.  From here you can check the opening times, see the mobile library timetable, join, reserve items, see new items in stock, search the catalogue and online reference materials or even ask a librarian for help.  To engage the community there is also information on the classes held in the library, children's story and rhyme times and an opportunity for you to keep up-to-date with library news and add your own comments.
